Feeding Directions: To avoid possible dietary upset from a change in diet, make changes gradually. Start with a small amount of Natural Ultramix Large Breed Puppy Formula in place of your puppy's current food. Over the next 7 to 10 days, increase the amount of Natural Ultramix Large Breed Puppy Formula while decreasing the amount of their other food until your puppy has 100% Natural Ultramix Large Breed Puppy Formula in the bowl.

Large to giant breed puppies have special nutritional needs during the first 12-24 months and should have their own special food to meet those needs. Natural Ultramix Large Breed Puppy Formula provides concentrated nutrition with all the protein, vitamins and other nutrients an active puppy needs, as well as carefully balanced levels of fat, calories and minerals, such as calcium and phosphorus, to promote adequate growth rates and skeletal development of large breed puppies. The crunchy pieces provide great taste, excellent chewing exercise, and help clean teeth.

Depending on the breed, large breed puppies are ready for adult foods at or about 12 - 18 months and for the giant breeds at 24 months. A gradual transition to Natural Ultramix Large Breed Adult Canine Formula is recommended.

Feed your puppy an amount that will provide steady, optimal growth without becoming overweight. This food intake will vary depending on age, activity level, environment, and other factors.

Puppies benefit from a consistent feeding time of day and diet. For example, three small meals a day, or two larger meals split between the morning and the evening. To serve moistened, add one-third part warm water to two-thirds parts Natural Ultramix Large Breed Puppy Formula, do not serve more than what your puppy will consume in a thirty minute period.

Remember to provide plenty of fresh water in a clean container at all times. Regular visits to your veterinarian and exercise are strongly recommended to help ensure your puppy's good heath.
