I had been struggling with one of my outdoor cats (Bear) to help her recover from an injury she had obtained  from a dog visiting our home.  For 9 months my husband and I applied topical colloidal silver, gave her homeopathic remedies all which helped keep the infection down but never totally healed her.  After visiting Tree of Life's customer appreciation weekend in Dallas I ordered your Cat food for adult maintenance, this was September of 2008, within a few weeks her sores were totally healed and her weight began to come back, she is now the same size as her sister who had always been much larger and now is not afraid of her own shadow.

 We also have an indoor cat named Bobbie who had a very sensitive stomach and would throw up occasionally even when consuming sensitive stomach cat food, well needless to say he does not throw up anymore.

Thanks for helping to save Bear and for making Bobbie a happy healthy cat.

I wanted to write to you a second time to tell you how thrilled I am with the Natual Ultramix Indoor Feline Cat food. When I first fed it to Flower and Thumper they loved it and I was a happy pet owner.  Now that they have had it as a regular diet, I see such a difference in them.  Not only do they love both the dry and canned food. Their fur is soft and beautiful and they have more energy. Flower was becoming a little over weight and NOW she has lost weight. She is so beautiful!!! Thank you so much for such a great product and for helping me to keep my cats healthy and happy. My cats will eat this food for the rest of their lives!!

My co-worker found out Nutro causing a lot of issues and recall.  They all were freaking out because for some reasons, 90% of people I know feed their puppies Nutro.  Again, I forwarded the website so they can compare it with any other brand.  You use organic and high quality of product.

Explained to them how confident and satisfied I am.  My kids have been using this product since they were babies.  They all look healthy and happy J

Rave: Natural Ultramix Lamb & Rice canned dog food

My husband and I have loved and given loving homes to a multitude of animals over the 50 years we have been married. Most of our animals have been rescues with few exceptions!
At present we are down to one dog, Juni, a Lab mix who unfortunately has a multitude of food allergies. We have gone through green beans, tuna, salmon broccoli..all of which she tolerated....but never really enjoyed....UNTIL last week. I was in a local Sprouts store and as I often do..I read the labels of several kinds of dog food, making sure there was no chicken or wheat products....the worst of her allergies.
I picked up 2 cans of different brands of dog food and added them to my shopping cart.
I opened one of the cans and she turned up her nose at it and left the kitchen. The first one was not the Natural Ultramix of course. I then opened the Lamb, Vegetables and brown rice and called her back to get a quick sniff!
She reacted positively so... I mixed a 1/2 can with her Salmon kibble and watched to see what would happen.
I have to tell you, in the 5 years she has been with us we have never seen her eat with such GUSTO! That was 3 days ago and since that time I went back to Sprouts and bought all of the remaining Lamb formula cans (even though I did see that chicken was one of the ingredients) for it is wonderful to see her enjoy eating...finally! She is a little itchy....but not enough to be a huge problem.

Rave: Organix Cat Food

I have 4 cats ranging from 10 years old to 1 year old. I am also a veterinary technician. With all the diets on the market I could not find one including prescription that could meet all my cats health reqirements. One of my cats was obese and had asthma and urinary crystals, his brother could not hold down food, even presribed intestinal diets, then my kitten couldn't eat their foods because it didn't have nutrients for a growing kitten. I was so frustrated that I stoped all the crazy diets and decided to go natural. Withen 2 weeks on Organix my cat had stoped vomiting, the other cat was loosing weight, and they didn't act like they were always starving any more. They are all more active and alert, playfull, you name it. I now joke that I feed my cats better than I feed my self because their is not a balance diet in a bag for humans. LOL. I will never feed my pets any thing else! My 4 cats eat two 6 lbs bags a month! That is far less than what they were gorging themselves with the other brands! Their stools are prefect, and I run yearly compleate blood work ups as a preventative for disease, all levels have gone to normal since the food switch! My cats would not know what to do with out you!!! I recommend it over Science Diet, Eukanuba, you name it!

Dear "Castor and Pollux,"
In addition to your outstanding products, we'd like to commend you for your outstanding shipping department!!! Our "mom" had become totally frustrated trying to find your "Natural Ultramix Cheese Flavor Dog Cookies." She use to be able to find them at the 2 Petco stores nearby but that's no longer the case. One of the Petco stores hasn't had them for several months and the other Petco only has them now and then. Our "mom" even placed an order for several packages at one ot the Petcos with the understanding they'd call when the product came in. The phone call never came and when she checked, the store had no record of the order.
Fortunately our "mom" was smart enough to go to your website and place the order. In just 5 days the order arrived. We are both "rescue" doggies but learned quickly to select your Ultramix dog cookes over EVERYTHING else. Our "mom" has no problem finding your Natural Ultramix Adult dog food..........both canned and dry. But if that happens, she knows she can order it directly from you too.
San Diego is often at the "end" of the line for product availability. Many stores are also cutting down their orders due to the "economy." Thanks to being able to order your products "online," we are optomistic about the future :-)))

Rave:Out Spot 

While I've used Out Spot for the last several years, I've really started seeing why this product is worth it's weight in gold the last few days.
Everything from red wine to dog vomit. It's amazing!
Recently our dog Fred became quite ill as a result of some medicine the vet had prescribed her. After two doses of it, she started throwing up repeatedly. Unfortunately this started in the middle of the night while we were asleep. When we woke up in the morning there were huge spots of dog vomit all over the house in the carpeted areas.
The good news is that we've gotten Fred on the road to recovery. After a scary morning at the vets getting fluids and new meds into her, it was time to come home and tackle the mess left behind. Thank god for Out Spot!! As usual it makes short work of the stains. I'm so glad that your product is available - it's a life saver! (for our carpet at least :) ).
I turned my mom onto when she had a huge ink stain on her carpet. The vacuum cleaner had gotten ahold of an ink pen and it was ugly. I told her to use Out Spot since it had done such a great job on our red wine stains in the past. Why not try it on ink? It worked like a charm!

Rave: Organix Organic Dog Food Dry and Canned

No question, I just fed Fiona a mix of your Organix Organic canned turkey and the Organix dry canine formula. She ate it all! And she is picky. I had been giving her a mix of stuff I would cook for her and some other dry stuff. But the cooking of special chicken or beef liver got to be a little much. I like to feed her healthy stuff that we eat, like flax and brown rice, so I was happy to try your dog food. The funny thing is that I got it in a grocery store (Smith's) and not a specialty pet store. I'm just happy to find a brand that my little Pekingeses mix will eat. Thanks for being as picky as she is.

I wanted to express that I am so proud to serve Organix organic cat food in my home. I have never been so comfortable knowing my cats are getting perfect nutrition. Xerxes (pure-breed Persian) had chronic struvite crystals, and Madeline( pure-breed Himalayan) had terrible anxiety with yuccky monkey type hair. Now they both are free of their curses. They are so happy and healthy, and I would never buy another food. I feel so peaceful knowing that this food is organic, and I know my cats are worth every penny. I cannot recommend a better food, and I've tried too many. And Shelley the owner, is the most loving and compassionate person I have ever spoken to, and thank God for her. My cats give many licks. I am a former District Manager for a Retail chain and can tell you that I know of over and beyond Great Customer Service and so I am so very impressed with your Company, you don't see or expect that kind of service or concern much anymore from anywhere. Having never asked for anything from your Company since this was not your responsibility to replace the food and only inquiring about the food's safety since it was purchased from a warehouse in question at the time, your Company was so very generous to go out of the way to insure that I felt safe feeding my beloved 19 "children" (and they are) that I wanted to say "Thank you", I love them and their safety means everything to me.......

Here is the best part!!!! THEY ALL LOVE THE FOOD!!!! YIPPEE, it's the very first time I saw my pet's clean their bowls!!! I added a little warm water and wow were we impressed when the bowls for this many animals were clean!! Not to mention I saw real banana slices in there WOW!
Our pet's are all rescue's ~ they all came from horrible situations and as we call it have been God sent to their retirement home with us to endure love kisses and hugs (and Healthy foods which they get now thanks to my education of Castor & Pollux foods) and having never to bare future litters (we believe in spay and neuter) and just simply put get to enjoy the walks and the sunshine with Mom and Dad! Ahaluna, after giving birth, turned into such a finicky eater. We couldn't get her to eat hardly anything except meat from the grocery store. Then after a few days we gave her some of your Natural Ultramix canned puppy food and she eats it! We were so relieved because she wasn't getting the nutrition that the puppies needed. I have been feeding my Chihuahua (Bella) Natural Ultramix since she came to live with us @ eight weeks old. She is such a healthy little peanut. Her coat is so soft and shiny and she loves the food. I recently adopted another Chihuahua named Taco. Since I've had him he's been on the same diet as Bella. He loves the food and and he is thriving on it. His coat looks 100 times better than it did when I brought him home. Please don't ever stop producing your dog food. I would hate to have to find a replacement. My name is Mr. Spoolie Gee. I am taking a break from enjoying my new Organic Catnip Toys just so I could tell you how much I like them. I'm the oldest cat in the house and my brother Kintaro doesn't know what catnip is. However, my littlest brother (his name is Tanuki) loves it too. This morning, our mama went to the pet store and got us some food and boring cleaning stuff. But being a concerned member of this household, I investigated her bags, and that's when I found my new Organic Catnip Toys. Sure, they were in a thick plastic bag, but just like it said on the package, HOLY MACKEREL! I could smell them a mile away. My mama opened them so I wouldn't go nuts. Tanuki likes the lobster and I rather like the fish, but either way, these are the greatest, most finely crafted treats I've ever had. My mama is always putting catnip in my papa's old mismatched socks. That's OK I suppose... but Pollux, you're my hero. Your toys are 100 times better.

Rave: Wet Nose Rawhide 8.5"Pressed Bone

Hello Castor and Pollux!!
I never met you, but I want you to know how extremely pleased I am with the product I am now regularly purchasing -- your 8.5 inch pressed rawhide bones. At first I purchased the 10 inch bones and sent them all back because they were much too big and cumbersome for my 2 lab mixes. I reordered a 10-pack of the 8.5 inch and they're much better. They're better able to hold them in their paws and steady them (8.5").
But getting to the point, there really is something out there that can be safetly chewed by dogs!!! With all the negative advice about everything: DON'T give real bones to chew, they'll choke or a perforated intestine. DON'T give knucklebones because they'll wear down and scratch their teeth (and my dog got bad diarrhea from them!). DON'T give nylon bones, they'll scratch their teeth. DON'T give regular rawhide they swallow pieces and get intestinal blockage. DON'T give this or that for this and that reason. It comes down to: what do they chew????? Well, this is finally the answer: your compressed rawhide. Finally found! It doesn't have any of the aforementioned fears, is all natural, and LASTS (like a bone should, after all)!! Ingenious invention, and I have to thank you very, very much for making it all natural and safe. This makes the difference of me buying it or not. I intend to become a long-time customer, God willling.

Rave: Natural Ultramix Canine & Feline

Thank you very much for your lovely products, for making life a little less panicked a year ago, and for responding so appropriately when the recall hit your canned food. Today marks exactly one year since I first fed your kibble to my pets.
My cats Hekmatollah and Mouse have been eating Natural Ultramix for a year, with Organix added several months ago. I originally bought the Ultramix as a backup brand in case there were any problems found in their food (they had been eating Natural Balance canned and kibble exclusively for years).
Ultramix kibble was here 9 days before the Natural Balance recall, and the cats had been sampling Ultramix but weren't eating much of it yet. Then between one day and the next the Natural Balance was all in the garbage.
Mouse was a little unhappy but OK. Thank goodness Hek was willing to at least eat the Ultramix even if he constantly let me know how angry he was (he's from Iraq, has a very bad temper, and hates change). I was prepared for some vomiting or diarrhea from the abruptness of the change, but there were absolutely no digestive upsets in either cat. They both started out refusing to eat the fruit/veg bits though. Mouse would leave them in the bowl and Hek would toss them all on the floor; Puck (dog) was happy to find them. Hek stopped complaining after about a month, both cats now love it, and they eat the fruit/veg too. Organix is also big hit, and I'm thankful they could get used to it at a normal pace.
During the recalls far too many companies failed to provide consumers with adequate information, and there are now very few I trust enough to feed their products to my pets. You always provided exactly the information I wanted to know and I appreciate it. The cats get your kibble as their primary food and love your catnip. Puck is on home cooked for most meals, inhales your treats, and she gets your dog kibble when we travel. If you ever start using a facility other than Menu I will happily start buying your canned food too. I know you supervise production and test your food, but I remain too angry about far too many dead pets, many were pets I knew, and the only reason mine aren't among them is pure dumb luck.
As you approach your company's own unhappy recall anniversary, I wanted you to know there are three very happy consumers here. As the one owning the credit card and thumbs, it's a good thing I agree with them

I wanted to tell you how happy we are with your food, and thanks again for all the coupons you sent. I have somehow lost your email address, and I keep wanting to write to you and I hope you remember me. I was worried about the ingredients being made in China and imported.
Madeline has lost her dandruff problem, she is so happy and healthy now, and Xerxes is so happy as well, I love feeding them your canned and dry ORGANIC food and I think my cats eat better than I do now!! heeheee. It's okay though. Xerxes loves the canned organic food and he is crying for it right now. My cats have improved so much.
I logged onto your site just now, and saw Poppy. That absolutely gorgeous amazing cat. I just was speechless. I have never seen a cat so gorgeous. I thought mine were beautiful. He reminds me so much of Keioto. He was a flame point himalayan also, and he died a year ago from kidney failure. He looks a lot like Poppy, and it made me cry...... I am so sad, I miss him so much, but it was so wonderful to see such a beautiful cat. I'll send in photos of my cats, they have been shaved for summer, but they are still adorable. Maybe they will become pets of the week.

A compliment to you, in the wake of the scary dog food recalls it was so good to find your dog food. I combed the dog food shelves at Petco and Petsmart for HOURS reading EVRY LABEL.and found your stuff, HORRAY! the dog is 6 lbs of wonderful, loves to play and snooze and is SO very healthy. THANK YOU For being out there for folks like me who want to give just as good quality of food to the fuzzy kid as the human ones. Rave: Curious Cat Organic Catnip Toy

I just wanted to let you all know that this product is SUCH a hit!!! I bought the product about 7 hours ago, forgot it was still in the bag... and yelled at the cat for rummaging through the bag. Low and behold he came out with the package still sealed of your organic catnip toys! I was waiting for my husband to get home and open them up for our four cats.
