Progressive Grocer names two new GOOD BUDDY® cookies as top grocery products of 2009

Clackamas OR - Leading trade publication Progressive Grocer has named two Castor & Pollux Pet Works® products among top items introduced in grocery stores this year.

New GOOD BUDDY® Pumpkin & Apple and "Mimi's Favorite" Mac & Cheese dog cookies are among 80 new products recognized in Progressive Grocer's Editor's Picks for grocery in 2009.

Honors for the tasty natural treats for dogs reflect a general trend toward healthy products in grocery, but most notably in the pet products aisle, where "health and wellness continues as an overriding trend," according to Progressive Grocer.

Honors for the dog cookies as a top new grocery product follows recognition as a top product among dog lovers - recently, DOG FANCY magazine selected Mimi's Favorite GOOD BUDDY dog cookies in its 2009 Editors' Choice awards recognizing the year's top new products.
