New food, treat, and cookie choices expand industry's broadest organic offering
Clackamas OR March 5, 2009 - Castor & Pollux Pet Works® expands the market's broadest line of natural and organic pet products with more choices of certified organic canned foods, new organic jerky treats for dogs, certified organic cat treats, and unique natural cookies for dogs.
Two ORGANIX® certified organic canned foods for dogs lead the new pack, both featuring organic free range chicken as the #1 ingredient. A new ORGANIX Organic Chicken and Organic Potatoes flavor also features certified organic chicken liver, carrots, apples and flax seed while the Organic Chicken and Organic Brown Rice flavor also includes organic turkey and vegetables.
Both new flavors are produced under strict adherence to the same USDA National Organic Program that apply to certified organic human food, and are available in 5.5 oz. cans, at suggested retail of $1.49; and 12.7 oz. cans, for $2.79.

Two new choices of GOOD BUDDY® dog cookies are Pumpkin and Apple, and Mimi's Favorite Mac & Cheese flavors. The new Mac & Cheese flavor is inspired by one of 12-year-old freekibble founder Mimi Ausland's favorite meals.
