Pet of the Week

My name is Gus. I am a Dog De Bordeaux but my new people, Susan and her son Marcus said my name should be “Miracle” because that is what I am. I was hit by a car last year and was paralyzed in my back legs. My family paid for neurosurgery to give me a chance to walk again. The surgery worked but I am a little wobbly. My first family abandoned me and I was then rescued by the wonderful Dog De Bordeax Rescue. They took care of me and put me in a rehab hospital. They were wonderful to me there and I was there a long time. I was sad and wanted a family. That is when Susan and Marcus saw my picture on the DDB Rescue site and they said they would love me no matter how ‘wobbly’ I was. When I went to Susan’s house I was skinny and could only eat a prescription dog food. Susan checked out Castor and Pollux and took a chance on feeding it to me. Well, I LOVE it and so do my 3 sister dogs at Susan’s house.
They were so spoiled that they would turn their noses up to dry dog food, but when they smelled Castor and Pollux in my bowl they wanted some. Now they are as addicted to the flavor as I am. Even Sasha, the New Guinea Singing Dog loves it. She is VERY picky and would never eat dry dog food….NEVER and she is 12 years old….
Castor and Pollux Organix Organic dog food does not hurt my tummy and I am putting on weight finally. All other food made me sick to my tummy and gave me the ‘poops’ really bad. Castor and Pollux Organix makes me happy and very healthy! I love the treats too. They are good for my sensitive tummy also. Look at the before me and the after me…….that is a testament to what love and good food does for a dog! I really am a Miracle and am so very blessed!
