Pet of the Week

I bought Ruby from a pet shop. She was matted, her eyes needed cleaning, she had feces on her paws and had a bad case of kennel cough. She needed a family bad. So I asked to see her in a room and they said she wasn't for sale due to her cough. I left very disappointed. Even though I knew my husband wouldn't agree on this purchase. Well, they called me at home about a month later and said she was ready to go home if I wanted her and of course I could not refuse. So I called my husband to come look at what I had just bought at the Mall. Needless to say, he was not too happy about this transaction, but finally gave in after three minutes. When I got her home, she was so used to being in a kennel for so long (3 months) that where ever I placed her that's where she'd stay for hours, even over night. She was still very sick, I informed the pet shop and they said they could take her back and I could pick out a new puppy. I was in shock to think what would happen to my Ruby. No way was she going back. After about a good six months Ruby finally came around. I remember her first time on grass, she had no idea what it was and when she figured it out she started to hop around and bark, she looked like a piece of popcorn popping and barking. They said we had to feed her what they had in the pet shop, which she regurgitated several times throughout the day, and oh yeah she also had constant diarrhea. So we decided to search for a healthier petfood and with the help of a PETCO rep. we gradually switched her to a mix of the Natural Ultramix puppy, wet and dry. Well, let me say that the second we put the bowl down, it could not have been more than one minute and it was GONE. Yeah the whole thing. She looked up at me as if saying "you forgot the rest" well I had to give her a little more, after all she had been eating that other stuff for 6 1/2 months and she was so cute. Now when I say who wants to eat, it doesn't matter what she's up to, (and let me tell you that she's usually up to no good) she will come. I'm so grateful to this company because my Ruby is so happy and and healthy now. I could not ask for a better food and the customer service that this company provides is awesome. I'ts almost like you've called another planet, since I didn't think these courteous people existed anymore. Go ahead call. We are Very Happy Customers. Oh yeah and the besy news yet, no more diarrhea!! Huh -- wonder what was in that other pet food??
