PeanutBeing a Gemini, I was instantly attracted to your package of cat treats at the pet store. When I saw that they were all-natural and *cheddar cheese* flavoured to boot, I thought perhaps you were conducting secret remote viewing experiments on my cat Peanut's dreamlife. Peanut is not a cat with a usual palate. he won't go near 'people' food no matter how much we try to cajole him with chicken, turkey, beef or fish. But cheese, now that's another matter entirely. A basket of fresh-baked cheese scones left to cool on the kitchen table is the only time that we've ever caught Peanut on the kitchen table, practically drooling, nose in dish. A few sprinkles of parmesan are enough to distract him from his catnip.
Suffice it to say your cheese treats went over well. In fact, Tempations (TM) treats have got NOTHING on these! You know those commercials with the cat jumping through the drywall (sheet rock) through several rooms to get to the Temptations treats? That's all special effects. But Peanut and his Castor & Pollux treats are not all that far from that in reality. He hears the crinkling of the little plastic bag from all sorts of hiding places he's got around the house, and suddenly out of nowhere, he appears - running - RUNNING! and meowing insistently for his treats. Peanut is nearly 14 years old and honestly, very little other than his carrier coming out of storage (a sure indication of a visit to the vet) gets him running.
So, thanks Castor & Pollux for making such a great and (apparently) tasty product. It comforts me to know that giving him 'junk food' or treats, is actually not bad for him at all, with all the natural ingredients that you use. I'm attaching a picture of Peanut here, who I'm sure would thank you too, if he could.
Best,
Suzan Krepostman
